I am a Devout Christian who loves to serve God in anyway that I am able. I am very set in my faith and will stand up to just about anyone to defend my God and His teaching. (through love of course not through fighting) I am willing to do anything that my God asks of me. (doesn't mean I won't be nervous...) Feel free to e-mail me with any questions and I will happily give you an answer. This answer however will be biblically based. I DO NOT have all the answers but will try my hardest to help you find a biblical one.

Service-- August 22, 2007

What is up the rock? Well, few words can explain service last night. That was absoulutly amazing. There was so much that God did for some of the people there last night. God really used service last night to touch the lives of those that needed Him the most. There where several amazing things that happened that are just beyond explaining. One thing that drove home to me was what was said in the beginning of service, "Don't judge my worship until you've heard my story." That is just an amazing and profound statment. We cannont look into the heart of man like God. This means that we cannot judge man because he cannot see the true intentions of man. God has made us to glorify Him. When we sin we are not doing what we are created to do. This brings us down. But during worship we are able to get rid of that oppression and feel the joy of God. This is what makes us who we are in worship. This is what makes us do what we do. "Don't judge my worship until you've heard my story." You never know what has happened to someone before they met Christ. When they became saved they found the freedom that they've always needed. This makes them so happy and excited that nothing around them matters. "Don't judge my worship until you've heard my story." Lay everything down for God. Don't let anything hold you back. Reach for Him and step out of the boat into the storming waters. Live it all for God.

Service-- August 15, 2007

Hey guys. You know, what Johnny said tonight was so true. We need to take our relationship with Christ to the next level. Most of us have taken the first step already. We have already laid everything down for Christ. This is most evident in our worship. There are several of you that have shown your commitment to Christ through your worship. Keep it up. Pray about what god wants you to do with your life right now. Be the most you can be for Christ. Be willing. Renew your covanent with God and be prepared to "take off" in your relationship with God. Be willing to go far. Reach others for Him. Paul said that faith without works is dead. Show your faith through your works. Let God work through you. Be the light to the world.

Service-- August 8, 2007

Service last night was great. The nooma video talked about how we are supposed to live for now. There are several reasons to do so like for the sake of the people around you and yourself. No matter what kind of past you came from it is always important to like for now not for the past. We cannot change the past. What has happened has happened, so there is no reason to live with it. We have been given a new life in Jesus Christ. Forget the past and move forward. Focus on what God is doing now and what He will do. It is not wrong to remember but we should not dwell in what happened so long ago. Live in the present and be who God needs you to be. Always be willing to follow and serve Him even throught the tough times.

Service-- August 1, 2007

Hey guys. Service was great tonight wasn't it? Johnny made a really good point about how we must show ourselves as christians. We aren't to hide our christianity or keep others from knowing who we really are. We need to show who God is through us and we need to learn that we are a walking temple of God not ourselves. I challenge everyone who was there and heard the Word of God to live by what His standards are and to not be afraid of what people will think about you when they find out that your a christian. Remember to risk everything for God. Let Gods light shine through you. Be willing to let God use you and work in and through you. And when He does do not be ashamed of Him. I wanted to thank you guys for putting what you did into worship. That is what is going to keep this youth group on fire for God. Keep up the good work and stay willing. Be the person that gets to heaven and God looks at you and says "Well done my good and faithful servant." Live for Him and you will go far.
